The Story of WWB
-

In the 1980, in Italy, it was impossible to buy a surf-board (or accessories like leash-line, etc.), nobody had seen them except in a photo.
I met some american boys (of the NATO Base) in Gaeta, they were surfing on the waves of "Serapo", and they gave me my first number of the "Surfer Magazine" where I took some informations to build my first surf-board, of course made by polystyrene and epoxy resin.

They were two american boys, Bart and Tommy, (of California), they were clever and pleasant.
It seems that even WES LAYNE, who became a great professional, made surfing in Gaeta.

So, with some friends I began to go to the sea and, with many difficulties, I learnt surfing art.
We began to travel, looking for waves and and new informations to improve ourselves.

At the beginning I used the mark "Danger Surfboards", later by the idea of my friend, modifying my surname we create the mark "Red’z" and with this mark I began to build surf-boards in clark foam and polyester resin

My tasks in the engineering study and in my work obliged me to disregard the shaper activity for two years and another shaper began to build boards with my mark "Red’z", because I hadn’t recorded.
In the 1998 I started on a new production of clark foam boards and resin polyester with the mark WWB.

WWB (World Wave Board) which means that I made surf trips all the oceans of the world.
